LARTS 352 Drama Workshop I
A collaborative workshop in the elements of acting and directing. Students will engage in various sense memory exercises and group improvisations and will work together as a unit on a series of scenes from an assigned play.
Note: In addition to the weekly scheduled Tuesday class, an additional third hour of instruction will be dedicated to weekly small group meetings where students will extend, refine, or revise the activities we worked on that week in the large group (e.g., sense memory exercises, improvisation, and scene work). This time will also be used for groups to do an observation of a Boston University CFA rehearsal process, as well as to attend the play in performance.
