OPERA 521 Opera Workshop
An introduction to the fundamental concept of action as the main component in character building and story telling. The relationship between action and singing is explored through work on arias in a class setting. Emphasis is placed on the whole performer and the demands faced to be successful on the opera stage. Strong attention is paid to vulnerability, participation and healthy performing.
