ESL 201 English as a Second Language III

This course uses biographies of great composers (e.g., Beethoven, Berlioz, Tchaikovsky, Mahler) and a variety of autobiographical texts in order to help students develop reading fluency and expand their writing skills. Students also practice listening comprehension through the use of videos and are encouraged to speak about readings. Prerequisite: ESL 102 or placement by exam.
