Woodwind Orchestral Repertoire: Bassoon is a weekly performance class which focuses on the orchestral repertoire that figures most prominently in orchestral bassoon auditions. The weekly classes will be structured around student performances, but the semester will begin with a discussion of orchestral audition preparation and will conclude with a mock audition. In addition, the class will regularly focus on broader technical and artistic subjects. Two class sessions will be devoted to contrabassoon repertoire and technique.
