CMA 564T Film Noir
Introduces such post–World War II themes as victimization, anxiety, pessimism, and suspicion, through films by such directors as Chabrol, Hitchcock, Lumet, etc. Attention is given to film music; students create original music based on plot, theme, and characters. Film viewing required outside of class.
